RIAS Inc. offers a highly experienced team of experts who have been on the front lines of the regulatory system for decades
– as managers of regulatory departments and regulatory programs; in building entire regulatory programs from the ground-
up; in developing individual regulations and managing the regulatory process from policy concept to final regulation; and as
practical, technical experts in identifying and estimating the risks, benefits, costs and distributional impacts of regulation and
alternative approaches for achieving public policy goals.
While the RIAS Inc. team brings considerable history and experience in regulatory matters to our consulting assignments, we
also have up-to-date, in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Cabinet Directive on Streamlining Regulation (CDSR), its
supporting guides, and regulatory process requirements. We have been leaders in the development of the guides that support
the CDSR, and training of federal regulators in their use.
